Anscare LeniScar Silicone Sheeting (Non-Sterile) is a reusable, transparent, and conformable silicone treatment product. Made from medical-grade silicone, it adheres closely to scar tissue, helping to relieve tension around the scar, reduce the formation of hypertrophic scars, maintain the skin’s moisture balance, and provide an optimal protective barrier for scar healing.

How Does Silicone Sheeting Works
The epidermis and stratum corneum play an important role in preventing underlying tissue from dehydration. When the skin is injured, water loss increases and may stimulate abnormal collagen accumulation.
Anscare LeniScar Silicone Sheeting creates an invisible, transparent thin film which helps to maintain the moisture balance of skin and provides an optimal protective barrier.
When wound healing is in a perfect water balance, would leave a flat scar.
Upgraded silicone therapy provides long-term and effective water barrier function.
Elongation
The elongation test results show that Anscare LeniScar Silicone Sheeting demonstrates excellent extensibility. It fits closely to the skin and can be used on joints without restriction.
90° peeling force (gf/15 mm)
The test results show that Anscare LeniScar Silicone Sheeting features strong resistance to detachment while maintaining moderate adhesion. It stays securely in place for long-lasting wear, yet can be easily removed when needed.
Instruction for use
Clean and dry the scar area
Gently cleanse and pat dry the scar area. Trim excess body hair if necessary to ensure proper adhesion.
Remove the protective film and apply
Peel off the backing and apply the silicone sheet over the scar. Cut to fit the size of the scar if needed.
Ensure proper coverage and monitor
Make sure the silicone sheet extends 1–2 cm beyond the scar edges. It is recommended to remove after approximately 12 hours and observe the scar area.
Replacement and Removal of Silicone Sheeting
It is recommended to replace the silicone sheet every 12 hours. Clean and dry the affected area, then allow it to air for about 30–60 minutes before reapplying. The silicone sheet is reusable and can be reapplied to the same area.
Under normal conditions, each silicone sheet can be reused for 2–4 weeks. The duration of use depends on personal cleaning frequency or until the sheet no longer adheres effectively.
Silicone sheeting is self-adhesive; no additional adhesives are required.
The plastic film on the back of the silicone sheet is for protection during packaging. Please remove it before use.
Warnings and Precautions :
If maceration or redness occurs on or around the affected area, discontinue use temporarily. Resume application only after symptoms subside, gradually increasing daily usage time.
If symptoms do not improve after discontinuing use, stop using the product and consult a healthcare professional.
When cleaning the sheet, gently wash it with clean water.
If needed, trim appropriately with clean or sterilized scissors.
A slight edge lifting after use is normal; avoid excessive rubbing when cleaning.
