The Only Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) System to Receive the National Innovation Award

The recipients of the “National Innovation Award” presented annually by the Research Center for Biotechnology and Medicine Policy (RBMP) have always been the focus of the industry since its inception.


Anscare SIMO NPWT System was honored with the 19th National Innovation Award renewal and issue the Excelsior Award (Innovative Medical Materials and Diagnostic Technology category), winning judges over with its ingenious design in promoting wound healing with “battery-free, smart indicators, light showering, and canister free” features which make wound care much easier to take care of.


In recent years, in addition to obtaining 25 domestic and international patents, SIMO has also received the permit for market launch in Taiwan, the U.S., the EU, and Malaysia. In terms of marketing and clinical case studies,SIMO has been featured several times in clinical reports published by the Taiwan Society for Wound Care, the European Wound Management Association, and the Wounds Asia 2021 conference, receiving extensive and positive feedback. Besides being used in numerous medical institutions in Taiwan, it has successively expanded to international markets such as the U.S., Europe and Southeast Asia. It is hoped that this innovative design from Taiwan will thrive and prosper across the world and carry out the full potential of material science by contributing to wound care both at home and abroad.
